Sun/Location: Like most Echeveria succulents, 'Brown Rose' can grow both indoors and outdoors as long as it gets the right care. Full to partial sunlight is ideal for them to maintain the rosette shape and stunning brown color. Succulent plants cannot tolerate low temperatures, thus move them indoors before frost and grow under artificial light. Soil/Pot: Overwatering is the overwhelming killer for all succulents. Preparing well-draining potting soil mix and succulent pots with drainage holes is a must for all succulents. To create an adequate cactus soil mix, mix perlite, gritty rocks to regular potting mix to provide proper drainage. Watering: Succulents require little watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak and dry method.
