The finished product is polished and set flush to the base's surface. This method creates a mosaic of stones that are a one-of-a-kind work of art. "Kewa" refers to the Native American Pueblo tribe also known as the "Santo Domingo Pueblo," a federally recognized tribe located in northern New Mexico. They are particularly known for their skilled craftwork, including jewelry made from turquoise and shell, often called "heishi". Please contact with questions. Check out our other listings!
